昨晚把blog升级到了最新的2.2.1版本 （http://wordpress.org/development/2007/06/wordpress-221/），已经有半年没有升级了，每次升级都需要同步一些我自己修改过的代码，还是挺费事的。这次升级虽然隔了几个版，大部分的plugin都不用升级可以继续使用，这减少了不少麻烦，唯一费了点劲的是tiga theme的不兼容，改了好几个地方才支持了最新版的widgets功能。又可以安心使用一段时间了 🙂

HI,你好. 我使用WORDPRESS 2.2.1配的THEME是TIGA THEME. 但是發現使用TIGA THEME時,BROWSE不會自動切到UTF-8的編碼,因此中文都出現亂碼了, 但是我看你的BLOG並沒有這樣的問題,請問您怎麼達成的. THANKS

请问，如果你不使用tiga的theme的时候正常吗？ 如果别的也是这样的话，问题可能是出在数据库连接或者数据库的字符集上。如果别的正常，那就是tiga的theme在header上的设置问题，你可以自己手动修改tiga的header部分代码，可以在后台管理的模版编辑部分去修改，手动的修改为UTF-8字符集，如果还是不行，那就看看你下载的tiga源代码是否在上传或者别的操作过程中被修改处理成非UTF-8格式了。最后的一种可能性就是zh_CN.mo语言文件的问题，这个需要googl一下，找到编辑.po文件的编辑器来修改之。 我能知道的就是这些，最准确的判断办法就是实际看到你的服务器环境配置还有源代码来判断。

另外，你可能还得注意一个地方，就是WP的根目录下有个配置文件wp-config.php，里面有这样一行需要修改成下面我这样。

不好意思,我想问一下,我在安装了wordpress 2.2.1之后,过一段时间我的blog 就慢得很,即使是从内部网络访问也是异常缓慢,不知道什么原因?
这个倒是很奇怪，你需要定位一下，如果懂PHP的话可以自己加几个调试点看看到底慢哪里了，正常应该不会出现这样的情况，我估计是数据库链接问题要不就是某个插件升级后不太兼容导致，你把插件都停了，一个一个打开测试一下看看。
现在好像有更新版出来了，你可以升到更高版本试试。
